Local Speed Survey

Dear Resident

PCSO Birch was out in the Crosshouses area  between 11:10 and 11:45 on Thursday 6th November conducting a speed survey.

100 vehicles were checked with the mean average speed of 24.3. 

The survey is in response to some concerns raised by residents within the area, regarding the perceived speed of some vehicles and in line with the local Policing Charter.

All data is collated and sent to our Roads Safety Team and shared with Parish Councils.

Speed surveys are conducted at various times and days, throughout your local area by the designated Safer Neighbourhood teams in conjunction with Parish Councils
